favourite things about nature. (chosen by texanna)

krystal.
the way i feel God in the wind.
the rain: every thing about it: the way it smells right before a storm, dancing in it; it feels like cleansing, like a new beginning.
the smell of fresh flowers.
the colors of the sun rising and setting.
the sound of rushing water.
the simple beauty of something growing.
the softness of grass.
the colors of leaves in the fall.
the sound of trees ruffling in the wind.
the sweetness of fruits.
the way a ray of sunlight can send a sense of warmth through your whole body.
the stars twinkling at night.
the sounds and smell of the ocean.
the strength and wisdom of a full grown tree.
the way that i can see God in every inch of it.
the lack of, yet completely filling taste of water.
the way a clear day can make you feel beautiful.
the beautiful design of petals.
the strength and majesty of mountains.
the beauty in a flame.

texanna
the movement of colour throughout the year-never staying stagnant or boring in one frame.

the balance of the animals- even though there are beasts, they don't swallow up ALL of the beautiful more helpless animals in one gulp.

leaves and petals- the hands of trees and flowers.

wind
light and its colour and how something we see can also be something that we can FEEL in warmth

the fact that so much of it is food. that it just springs up from the ground for us and we can eat it.

harmony.

silence.

noise.

intelligence(once, i threw a dried leaf into the web of a rather hefty spider and watched in amazement as it pounced on it, drew back, and began picking it out of its web, pulling it free from each individual thread the leaf had disturbed. then, as if it was already bored of the situation, held the leaf out with its two front legs- dropped it to the ground).

praise-leaves clap their hands continuously, birds sing to Him, sunrises shine for Him, the wind whistles His glory.

affection and compassion among mothers and young.

the learning process.

growth.

birth.

death

reproduction.

healing.
